The Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI), also called Final Random Inspection (FRI) or Finished Quality Control, will take place when 100% of production quantities are completed, unless otherwise specified by the client. Pre-shipment inspections ensure that every product in every container meets the standards set, and encapsulated in a prototype, before production began. By this stage, in-progress inspections should have ensured that the production process is consistently producing quality meeting the minimum standard as established by the "sealed sample" benchmark prototype. The pre-shipment inspections performs a final piece-by-piece (generally NOT random unless specified) inspection. This piece-by-piece approach takes account of variances that are often found in construction related products such as furniture, bathtubs etc. With furniture, particularly, variances tend to be more pronounced. Our pre-shipment inspections address the following:
Once each inspection is completed, a detailed report with digital photographs will be provided. The next, and final, step of the quality control process is the container loading inspection. To contact us immediately about your next project, please use the contact form below. |
